Pediatric
Physical Therapy

Movement-focused therapy that helps children build strength, mobility, balance, and confidence at home.

What We Do

Pediatric physical therapy supports gross-motor development and functional mobility through activities designed around the child's age, abilities, diagnosis, and everyday environment. Therapists also coach families on safe positioning, transfers, equipment, and home exercises.

Who This Service Is For

We support pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses, functional needs, and medical complexities. Common populations may include:

Children with delayed motor milestones or impaired mobility.

Children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, or genetic conditions.

Children recovering from orthopedic surgery, injury, illness, or hospitalization.

Children who use braces, orthotics, walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility equipment.

Areas of Focus

  • Rolling, sitting, crawling, standing, walking, running, and stair skills
  • Strength, endurance, flexibility, balance, and coordination
  • Gait training and safe use of walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, and orthotics
  • Positioning, pressure relief, and contracture prevention
  • Neuromuscular re-education and motor-planning activities
  • Family training and individualized home exercise programs
