Medical Transportation?
Wheatland Health excels in delivering all-inclusive long-distance medical transportation services. With our professional team handling every small detail, we strive to make this potentially challenging time as easy as possible for you and your loved ones. Here’s what you can expect from us:
- Seamless bedside-to-bedside transport for hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hospice care, or home care with family.
- Continuous medical supervision with on-board health professionals to monitor vitals, conduct blood sugar checks, track O2 levels, and guarantee patient comfort.
- Appropriate medication and oxygen administration as prescribed.
- Dietary restrictions and allergens given utmost consideration.
- Provision of meals for patients and accompanying individual
- Regular status updates on patient's health and estimated arrival time.
- Ultra-comfortable memory foam mattresses for an improved rest experience.
- Regular change of bedclothes and bedding as necessary.
- Onboard amenities including TV/DVD and Wi-Fi.
- Family members and pets are invited to accompany patients on the journey.

You’ll need to contact your insurance provider’s customer service department and/or case management department to assess your benefits for Non-Emergency Medical Transport coverage. You may also have the case manager, or the provider relations department contact us at 1 407-279-1611 to inquire about arranging your transport*.
Wait service can be requested for an additional charge. Round trip clients will have the choice of adding wait time to their reservation or they can simply call us within an hour of pick up time if wait service is not needed.
We encourage clients to call and check availability for last-minute reservations. To preserve the quality of our business, we operate on a scheduling system. We ask that clients make reservations at least 24 hours prior to pick up to ensure we can be prompt and maintain our daily schedule.
We understand that plans change. Should you need to cancel a reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.
• Reservations canceled in advance of two (2) hours prior to pick-up time will be fully
refunded.
• Reservations canceled within two (2) hours prior to pick-up time will be partially refunded
less a $35 scheduling fee.
• Reservations canceled after a driver has been dispatched and/or arrived at the pick-up
location will only be refunded 50% of the trip value.
• Out-of-area reservations (beyond a twelve (12) mile radius of Orlando, Florida) canceled
after a driver has been dispatched and/or arrived at the pick-up location will only be
refunded 25% of the trip value.
• No refunds, either full or partial, will be honored once service has been rendered.
We accept pre-approved insurance, Cash, Check, or Credit Cards.
Pre-approved insurance coverage is accepted by Wheatland Health. These include, but are not limited to, private insurance carriers, workmen’s comp, and group coverage.
